JAKARTA, (BS) – Presiden Joko Widodo mengajak umat Islam di seluruh Tanah Air untuk menjadikan peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an sebagai momentum untuk memperkuat kebersamaan dalam keragaman yang dimiliki bangsa Indonesia. Ajakan tersebut disampaikan Kepala Negara dalam sambutannya secara virtual pada acara Peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an Tingkat Kenegaraan 1443 H, yang ditayangkan YouTube Sekretariat Presiden, pada Selasa, 19 April 2022.
“Saya mengajak umat Islam untuk menjadikan peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an ini sebagai momentum untuk memperkuat kebersamaan dalam keragaman yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam mewujudkan negeri dan bangsa yang _baldatun toyyibatun warobbun ghofur,” ujar Presiden Jokowi.
Presiden Jokowi mengatakan bahwa peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an merupakan salah satu keistimewaan bulan Ramadan sehingga umat Islam dapat mengingat diturunkannya Al-Qur’an kitab suci umat Islam yang diwahyukan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai petunjuk bagi hidup dan kehidupan manusia.
“Al-Qur’an merupakan mukjizat dari Allah SWT yang tidak ada keraguan di dalamnya. Al-Qur’an adalah petunjuk dan pembeda antara yang hak dan yang batil. Sebagai peringatan, sebagai rahmat, sebagai penjelas, sebagai berita gembira, dan bahkan sebagai obat bagi hati yang sedang duka dan sakit,” ungkapnya.
Sebagai bangsa yang berketuhanan, Presiden mengatakan bahwa kita semua dituntut untuk percaya dan beriman kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Selain itu, konsekuensi dari beriman kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa adalah harus menerima dengan lapang dada bahwa keberagaman ini merupakan kehendak Allah Swt.
“Al-Qur’an menegaskan bahwa keanekaragaman yang terjadi pada berbagai makhluk Tuhan pada hakikatnya merupakan _sunnatullah_, sebuah ketetapan Allah Swt., sebuah skenario Allah Swt.,” ucap Presiden.
Oleh karena itu, Presiden menekankan pentingnya menjaga, merawat, dan mengelola dengan baik keberagaman yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia sebagai anugerah dari Allah Swt. Setiap elemen bangsa yang beraneka ragam diyakini memiliki kebaikan dan kelebihan masing-masing yang harus dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan bersama.
“Jangan sampai ada di antara kita yang merasa lebih dari yang lain, merasa lebih baik dari yang lain, atau bahkan lebih suci dari yang lain. Kita mungkin berbeda dari yang lain, tapi bukan berarti kita merasa lebih dari yang lain,” tutur Presiden.
“Kebaikan-kebaikan yang muncul dari berbagai elemen bangsa, dari Sabang sampai Merauke, dari Miangas sampai Pulau Rote yang sejatinya perlu dikedepankan untuk kepentingan bersama, dikontribusikan untuk kemanfaatan bersama,” tandasnya. (Red)
