JAKARTA, (BS) – Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) melalui Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) Jawa Timur – Bali Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga resmi membuka satu jalur perkerasan beton (rigid) di Duduksampeyan, Kabupaten Gresik, pada Senin sore (18/4/2022).
Pembukaan tersebut dimaksudkan agar tidak ada lagi contraflow pada Jalan Pantai Utara (Pantura) Jawa akibat pekerjaan konstruksi, tepatnya di ruas jalan Batas Kabupaten Lamongan – Batas Kota Gresik.
Kepala BBPJN Jawa Timur-Bali Kementerian PUPR Achmad Subki menyatakan, bahwa pembukaan perkerasan rigid Duduksampeyan ini lebih cepat 4 hari dari target yang diberikan oleh Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono saat peninjauan kesiapan jalur mudik beberapa waktu lalu.
“Jadi arahan Pak Menteri PUPR agar H-11 Lebaran 2022 jalan ini sudah bisa dibuka, tapi pada hari ini atau H-14 jalan ini sudah bisa dilalui kendaraan dan tidak ada contraflow saat Lebaran mendatang guna menghindari kemacetan”, jelas Subki.
Pembukaan arus lalu lintas dilakukan pada satu jalur perkerasan rigid jalan Pantura Gresik-Lamongan, tepatnya pada Km 33+600 sampai dengan 35+172 dengan panjang sekitar 1,5 km. “Perkerasan rigid ini dapat dibuka lebih cepat berkat dukungan pimpinan BBPJN Jatim-Bali dan kerja sama tim yang kompak, khususnya PPK 4.5 Provinsi Jawa Timur,” ungkap Subki.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa perkerasan rigid yang baru dibuka ini merupakan bagian dari Paket Preservasi Jalan Babat-Lamongan-Gresik MYC tahun anggaran 2021-2023. “Dengan dibukanya jalan ini, berarti sudah ada sekitar 7 km jalan yang beroperasi, yaitu pada km 33+600 hingga 40+600”, kata Subki.
Diharapkan dengan dibukanya jalan pada ruas tersebut dapat mengurangi kepadatan lalu lintas saat menjelang lebaran, khususnya di ruas jalan nasional dari Gresik – Lamongan dan sebaliknya.
Paket Preservasi Jalan Babat-Lamongan-Gresik MYC tahun anggaran 2021-2023 didanai Surat Berharga Syariah Negara (SBSN) dengan penyedia jasa konstruksi PT Cahaya Indah Madya Pratama – PT Airlanggatama Nusantarasakti, KSO. Paket ini memiliki total panjang penanganan 16,64 km dimana target selesai pekerjaan pada 31 Agustus 2023 mendatang. (Red)
