Sekda Kabupaten Bogor: Pentingnya Menjaga Kelestarian Hulu Untuk Menunjang Proyek Pembangunan Waduk Cibeet

BOGOR, (BS) – Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kabupaten Bogor, Burhanuddin mengatakan pembangunan Waduk Cibeet menjadi Program Strategis Nasional. Agar Waduk Cibeet itu lestari, maka wilayah hulunya harus lestari juga, antara lain di Air terjun (Curug) Cibeet.

Hal itu disampaikan Burhanudin saat memimpin Rapat Pembahasan Optimalisasi Pengembangan Curug Cibeet dan Penangkaran Rusa Kecamatan Tanjungsari, di Ruang Rapat I Setda, Selasa (28/6)

“Pembangunan Waduk Cibeet di Kabupaten Bogor menjadi Program Strategis Nasional (PSN). Dalam rangka menjaga dan mengamankan aset negara ini, Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bogor bersinergi dengan pihak-pihak terkait untuk mengoptimalkan pelestarian wilayah hulu Waduk Cibeet, yakni Air terjun (Curug) Cibeet,” ungkapnya.

Lanjut Sekda, Pemkab Bogor telah bersinergi dengan pihak-pihak terkait untuk bersama-sama melindungi Curug Cibeet agar tetap menjadi ruang terbuka hijau, tapi tetap ada nilai manfaatnya, jelas Burhanudin.

Sebelumnya, Bupati Bogor menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan Dirjen Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam dan Ekosistem (KSDAE) Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK) pada bulan Juni tahun 2021. MoU tersebut untuk mengoptimalkan potensi wisata alam curug, karena ada 110 curug yang ada di lahan milik Perhutani.

“Pengamanan aset negara ini menjadi tanggung jawab kita bersama termasuk dalam rangka mengoptimalkan aset negara tersebut,” kata Burhanudin.

Untuk diketahui, Waduk Cibeet akan dibangun dengan lahan seluas 1.700,26 hektare di delapan desa yang ada di dua kecamatan, yaitu Tanjungsari dan Cariu. Waduk tersebut diyakini dapat mereduksi banjir di kawasan, untuk irigasi, kebutuhan air baku, artinya bisa digunakan untuk kebutuhan air baku PDAM, bisa juga untuk PLTA dan tentunya untuk kegiatan pariwisata.
