BOGOR, (BS) – Buktikan konsistensinya kepada lingkungan, Yayasan Masyarakat Peduli Lingkungan (Mapeling) dibawah binaan Ir. Peny Susanti kembali melakukan operasi sampah liar. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan di Kampung Lamping RT 04 RW 06,Desa Pasir Jaya, Kecamatan Cigombong, Bogor, Jawa Barat.
Katua Yayasan Mapeling Asep Muhendar alias Kang Mapeng menjelaskan, bahwa masih banyak sampah – sampah liar di wilayah Kecamatan Cigombong yang harus ditangani.
“Sampah liar menjadi target utama tim kami untuk ditangani. Karena sampah tidak bisa dianggap hal yang sepele. Jujur saja, selama ini kami bergerak mandiri, sendiri, secara swadaya anggota. Padahal kami sangat memerlukan dukungan dari instansi pemerintah, baik pemerintah desa, terutama pemerintah kecamatan”, imbuhnya.
Asep Muhendar mengakui kendala terbesar yang dihadapinya saat ini adalah kekurangan armada pengangkut sampah dari DLH juga armada bentor pengangkut sampah untuk operasional Mapeling.
“Kami belum punya armada bentor pengangkut sampah. Yang kami pakai saat ini pinjaman dari salah satu komunitas sosial di Kecamatan Cigombong. Kami berharap pemerintah daerah melalui dinas terkait agar mengakomodir kebutuhan alat pendukung yang kami perlukan”, harapnya.
