Dalam pemaparannya, Wartawan senior Untung Bakhtiar mengatakan, dalam dunia pers wartawan wajib memahami undang undang 40 dan KEJ (Kode etik Jurnalistik) etik jurnalistik agar dalam menjalankan tupoksinya bisa profesional dan terhindar dari delik hukum.
” Wajib Hukumnya wartawan itu paham akan UU Pers dan Kode etik Jurnalistik, terlebih kita sebagai anggota PWI harus bisa menjaga Marwah PWI yang sebenarnya,” tegas untung yang juga wartawan senior Harian Radar Bogor
Ditempat yang sama, H.Deddy Juliawan Bidang Advokat PWI Kabupaten Bogor juga mengatakan, semua wartawan khususnya anggota PWI Kabupaten Bogor pasti sudah mengetahui tentang Isi dari Unang undang 40 serta kode etik jurnalistik namun kewajiban pengurus untuk terus mengingatkan timpal eks wartawan Mega swara tersebut.
Lebih lanjut H. Deddy menjelaskan sebagai wartawan yang bertugas di lapangan sudah pasti banyak tantangan dan rintangan serta selalu berhadapan dengan masalah hukum , sehingga semua wartawan wajib memahami undang undang pokok pers tahun 1999 dan kode etik jurnalistik dan dengan demikian mudah mudahan kita semua terbebas dari delik perkara atau tuntutan hukum harapnya.
Sekedar diketahui acara sosialisasi itu berlangsung hingga menjelang magrib dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengajian rutin mingguan.
